I'm Waiting 02:22
I’m Waiting I’m waiting – I search for a sign I’m hoping this year will be mine As confident as I’ll ever be The child behind – distant part of me I wonder what I’ll find in ‘73 I’m ready – I won’t sit at home Acceptance – new friends of my own As confident as I’ll ever be The child behind – distant part of me I’ll see what I can find in ‘73 As confident as I’ll ever be The child behind – distant part of me I wonder what I’ll find in ‘73 I’m waiting I’m waiting I’m waiting

Catholic Girl I’m in love with a Catholic girl From a different street First love, the deepest love Every time we meet We go dancing at night Watch the stars, the transformer Glowing light in her eyes See myself – know she’s in me Sharing all our secret thoughts Walking in the rain City bus, Sunday afternoon With my Magdalene We go dancing at night Watch the stars, the transformer Glowing light in her eyes See myself – know she’s in me When I awake Look to the sky I hope and pray That our love will never die

Sweet Fifteen “Christ your hair is a mess” I really couldn’t care less I’ve got to make a stand This boy’s becoming a man Outside the next movement’s dawning Just over the hill New poets, prophets and seekers Sign me up just give me danger – I ain’t no stranger Sweet fifteen and alive I wonder if the world will survive Twenty-one in ’78 But… that’s forever, oh man just too long to wait Nineteen seventy-three I don’t know who I’ll be My heroes on the wall Like them I want it all Outside the next movement’s dawning Just over the hill Looking for my fathermother Re-united cousinnephew sisterbrother Sweet fifteen and alive I wonder if the world will survive Twenty-one in ’78 But… that’s forever, oh man just too long to wait Sweet fifteen and alive I wonder if the world will survive Twenty-one in ’78 But… that’s forever, oh man just too long to wait That’s forever, oh man I can’t hesitate

Lost in the Crowd Millions of people around the center of town on Saturday, it’s Saturday Voices so loud we’re feeling lost in the crowd – a holiday, the tourists play Humid air rising, the rain isn’t surprising as it falls, sky turning grey Foggiest notion, let’s get down to the ocean, then you say: “Let’s slip away” O man it’s a circus and this crowd has no purpose, mania, pure mania At the train station rainfall over the nation as we watch the solemn drops I want you more, than you want me I want you more, than you want me But then we disagree, the possibility, the possibility Your breath is soft and warm Comfort from the storm, comfort from the storm Millions of people around the center of town on Saturday, it’s Saturday Voices so loud we’re feeling lost in the crowd – a holiday, the tourists play I want you more, than you want me I want you more, than you want me I want you more, than you want me I want you more, than you want me

In Trouble 02:39
In Trouble So they took me to the station I think I’m in trouble I know I’m in trouble Busted, handcuffed, knocked down, set-up I think I’m in trouble I know I’m in trouble Now I’m wishing that this day was done Only looking for a little fun Now I’m banished from the kingdom – shut out the sun Say goodbye to friends I’ve known I think I’m in trouble I know I’m in trouble These four walls don’t feel like home I think I’m in trouble I know I’m in trouble My whole world has crumbled come undone Only looking for a little fun Now I’m banished from the kingdom – shut out the sun This ordeal’s never ending I think I’m in trouble I know I’m in trouble House arrest but charges pending I think I’m in trouble I know I’m in trouble

Jupiter or Maybe Mars With your silent ways your secret melodies Walking in the rain for everyone to see Hung up on a very distant memory On a journey to the stars Jupiter or maybe Mars Searching for tranquility Songs just waiting to be free Your songs just waiting to be free With silent ways your secret melodies On a late night trying to capture all you see Fingers stretch for chords you’ve learned from memory Songs just waiting to be free Songs just waiting to be free Your songs just waiting to be free With your silent ways your secret melodies… On a journey to the stars Jupiter or maybe Mars

Audrey Ramsey Audrey Ramsey seventeen Picture postcard teenage dream Platform shoes she’s standing tall Knows the world and done it all Audrey Ramsey Audrey Ramsey By one o’clock I’m half asleep These afternoons offer no relief Still I can’t but fantasize Check out her picture – lovely eyes Audrey Ramsey Audrey Ramsey She’s driving me insane Twenty-four hours got her on my brain When I sleep calling out her name Audrey Ramsey Audrey Ramsey She’s driving me insane Mentholated ciggies drinking cheap champagne When I sleep calling out her name Audrey Ramsey Audrey Ramsey After hours in her room Swift undressing – sweet perfume In the twilight afterglow Taught me everything I know It’s always go go go To another party or another show She always makes the scene New York City cool and London’s such a scream Audrey Ramsey Audrey Ramsey

The Wind Will Blow Late at night city lights are low Shadows dance as the cheap lamps glow Still ahead you’ve got miles to go When you’re walking home and the streets are cold and grey Then the new day dawns, midnight was hours away Another death of another week Saturday night now Sunday’s sleep Half amazed by the hours you keep But the wind will blow, will blow it all away Yeah the wind will blow, will blow it all away All the thoughts that are in your mind In the darkness begin to shine When you’re walking home and the streets are cold and grey Then the new day dawns, midnight was hours away O the wind will blow, will blow it all away O the wind will blow, will blow it all away Yeah, the wind will blow, will blow it all away Will blow it all away Will blow it all… away

Tell Me Where You Are Late December evening Underneath the stars Waiting at the bus stop A stranger in his car Orion shone upon you – he had you in his sights Stood out on your doorstep Just looking for a clue The end is now beginning I’m losing sight of you Your brothers and your sisters won’t speak to anyone Speak to me in dreams – tell me where you are Angel morning comes – don’t leave me here alone Speak to me in dreams – relieve your suffering Tell me where you are Tell me where you are Tell me where you are

Wanderlust 03:47
Wanderlust You could travel far from this place – if you want to Paradise ain’t what it seems Fascinated – reading books and writing poetry A secret world no one has seen So set a course for destinations far away now And though the smoke and clouds you’ll fly Out on your own be never lonely in the city And let your dreams flower and rise Vanquish your deepest fears inside Oh there’s a feeling – wanderlust And it’s a notion you can trust For there’s a larger world outside And now you’re going on a ride And so the day comes Monday morning when you wake up Your suitcase packed your ticket bought You taste the fear but you repress it – won’t turn back now Great to be free in ‘73 An open door to ‘74
